My name is Jean Clark, and I’m honored to be joining the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Iowa State University as yourHouse Director (Mom). I’m truly excited to be part of thischapter and to support such a vibrant group of young men during such an important time in your lives.
I was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, and I’m the proud mother of three grown sons and grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren. Family means everything to me, and I’m looking forward to extending that spirit of support and care into my role here.
My work ethic was shaped early on through 20 years of experience working in my family’s restaurant, where I learned the value of hard work, hospitality, and always looking out for others. After that, I spent 30 years with W.W. Grainger, where I developed strong organizational and leadership skills before retiring in January 2024.
I have been an avid ISU Cyclone supporter for 20+ years. Although I’ve retired, I still have a deep desire to be active, helpful, and connected—and that’s exactly what brought me here. I’m looking forward to creating a warm, respectful, and supportive home environment for everyone at Kappa Sigma. I’m here to help, to listen, and to make sure this house truly feels like a second home.
