Kappa Sigma at Iowa State Places 2nd in Greek Week Back-to-Back!

For the second year in a row, the gentlemen of the Gamma-Lambda Chapter of Kappa Sigma are proud to announce our 2nd place finish in Iowa State’s 2025 Greek Week! Our chapter continues to raise the bar with an incredible showing across all events, and we’re already looking ahead to next year with big plans to take it even further.

We were especially proud to take 1st place in total donations to Special Olympics Iowa through the Polar Plunge. Giving back to the community is at the heart of what we do, and it was amazing to see our chapter and our partners step up for such a great cause.

Our competitive spirit showed through in the rest of the week as well:

● 1st place in Greek Tournament

● 1st place in Karaoke

● 1st Place Polar Bear Plunge

● 3rd in Community Service

● 3rd place in Lip Sync

These results are a testament to the dedication and energy every brother brought to the table. From the main characters putting in individual hours, to everyone showing up to practice, to late-night brainstorming sessions between the co-chairs, the commitment was real-and it paid off!

We also want to give a huge thank you to our alumni who showed up and supported us on such short notice. Your presence and encouragement meant everything as we are in the process of re-establishing and maintaining connection. And to everyone who donated-whether big or small-your support helped us make a real impact and keep our momentum. 

Greek Week is always an exciting time for our Kappa Sigma, and it only motivates us more. We’re proud of the progress we've made, and we’re already getting to work-because next year, we’re aiming even higher.
