The Kappa Sigma Fraternity originated in 1869 at the University of Virginia and has since spread to hundreds of chapters internationally and has risen as one of the most dominant social fraternities in the world. Why Kappa Sigma?
Kappa Sigma was founded in 1909 at the Iowa State University, and we have over 300 chapters across the U.S. and Canada with over 200,000 living members making us one of the largest fraternities in North America with some of the strongest alumni connections.
Our focus on our Four Pillars of Scholarship, Leadership, Fellowship, and Service help mold our brothers into well rounded men that build themselves and their community.
We host an annual highway clean up to keep our community clean.
We are committed to partnerships with our campus partners.
We are founding fathers of the Northern Plains Conclave of Kappa Sigma, dedicated to the growth and development of our chapter and our fellow fraternal chapters.
We currently reside in our Chapter House located in one of the oldest houses on campus with a brand new $1 million+ renovation over the 2024-2025 school year making it one of the most modern on campus.
